Pakistan Super League (Psl) 2018 Final
PSL is aT20 cricket league. The league was founded on 9th September 2015, in Lahore, with 5 teams and now comprises six teams. The PSL season runs between the months of Feb & March.
As I talking about the PSL final 2018, Karachi is gearing up to host the final of the third edition of PSL at National Stadium on 25 March. The match will be contested between inaugural champions Islamabad United and defending champions Peshawar Zalmi. I was surprised, when I came to know that all tickets for final were sold out within 3 hours….Amazing!
During the group stage of the 2018 PSL each team played ten matches, two against each of the other side contesting the competition. All matches were played in the UAE. The top four teams progressed to the playoff stage. Islamabad United finished the group stage with first position by winning seven of their matches and losing three. On the other hand, Peshawar Zalmi finished the group stage with third position by winning five of their matches and losing five.
Security And Traffic Plans For The Final In Karachi:
Rangers are personnel will be responsible for security inside the National Stadium, while police and other law enforcement authorities will secure the stadium from the outside. According to the DIG WEST ZULFIQAR ALI LARIK, “the South Zone police will be deployed for the security of the hotel where the players will be staying”. Routes leading to and from Hassan Square and New Town will be closed for traffic on 25 March.
The city administration has gone all out in its beautification and welcoming campaign, adorning the major thoroughfares with posters and banners.
Who Will Win The Final?
What do you think friends… who will win the final of PSL 2018?
- ISLAMABD UNITED
- PESHAWAR ZALMI
But keep in mind that, RONCHI and KAMRAN AKMAL are in great forms. Islamabad United qualified into PSL final because RONCHI cleans up Karachi Kings. His aggressive batting made the 155 chase look easy for Islamabad United in the qualifier against Karachi Kings in Dubai on Sunday. He scored 94 runs off 39 balls; including 12 fours and 5 sixes on the strike rate of 241.02.
On the other hand, KAMRAN AKMAL scored 77 runs off 27 balls propelled defending champions Peshawar Zalmi into the PSL final on Wednesday, as they beat Karachi Kings by 13 runs at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore.
Zalmi posted a towering 171 run target for Karachi Kings, whose bowlers crumbled under pressure as KAMRAN AKMAL scored his half century in just 17 balls, the fastest half century in PSL history. He smashed the fastest fifty in the history of PSL, surpassing Islamabad United LUKE RONCHI to reach his feat with a powerful six off just 17 balls.
PSL final should be very interesting between ISLAMABAD AND PESHAWAR. Both are tough and challenging team. Let see which team will win the PSL final.
